You have different options to customize your order below for a quote on a horse barn that will fit perfectly on your property. You can get eight, ten or twelve foot wide run-in sheds to accommodate your horses and other livestock. Choose the smallest size if portability is ever desired in the future.
The roofing can be metal with insulation or 30 yr. architectural shingles. Your choice will probably depend on the look that you want combined with the durability of the material that you choose. The price that you pay for your run-in shed or barn will include delivery up to 200 miles from Deer Creek Structures, located in Chilton, Texas. Freight shipping is additional for outside of our delivery radius.
We can build directly to your specifications if you are looking for a spec that isn’t listed in the quote. This is a list of custom barn options that we offer so don’t worry if you are undecided on a selection for your barn or if you want a different spec than listed. Our Custom Built Barns Come Standard with:

- 30 yr. Architectural Shingles
- Siding – -Cypress board and batten Standard
We also understand that you need your sheds to work for you and the specifics of your operations.
That’s why we also offer a selection of optional features to make your cabin more unique and to match with the needs of your horse farm or ranch.
Our add-on options include:
- Interior can be comprised of tongue and groove cypress, pine or cedar
- Corrugated metal ceiling or a wainscot panel
- Standard vaulted or an flat ceiling
- Exterior can consist of board and batten or horizontal siding, and can be made from cedar or cypress
- Roof Decking Overhangs – 7/16 OSB Standard
- Vaulted Ceiling – Standard
We also offer convenient onsite construction and sealing and staining services to ensure your barn lasts for years to come. Free delivery is also included in your purchase price to locations within 200 miles of our headquarters in Chilton, Texas.

Shingles are guaranteed up to 3o years. And they will go great with the cypress board siding.You also have other options that you can choose for your run-in sheds.
- You can get kick-broad and roof decking which are standard features, partition additions to keep your horses separated and heavy-duty metal gates to close off the front opening.
And if you are looking for a run-in shed that can serve multiple purposes for the care and boarding of your horses, you can always add on a storage/tack room (with or without a grill) to give you some work room and storage area in your run-in shed.
The ten and twelve foot wide models (available in varying stall and tack room sizes) will be perfect for your horses to be kept in.
